Today was interesting. I had been chilling all day, and for reasons unknown decided to make a video just to pass the time. I didn't really have a purpose, but within the hour I would find that purpose; purpose meaning: not JUST the point of making the video, but the purpose of why I was put on this Earth. If you watch the video (posted below here), it's called "Cold World," you'll be able to take a guess at what my purpose is. At first I thought what I wanted to do with my life was something computer-based. I realize that I STILL can, but my place is in missions. I see that now. Since I was a little kid my dream was to go to Japan. For what? I had no idea. All I knew was that I wanted to go and for whatever reason I had to go, I was sure it would hit me before I got there. So, after taking the hour and a half out to make the video, I decided to show my mother. Mainly because I knew she would give me the most honest answer, compared to that of my friends. So, I press PLAY and 4 minutes later my mother begins to prophesy to me about my life. She went into detail about who I had become since my leaving for school and told me things I know NO ONE new about me but myself and myself only. After a couple minutes of hearing this I got freaked out and walked away. But sitting here realizing what she told me, NONE of it was false. She was right, I just didn't want to admit it. So, you may ask me, "What's next?" for me. Honestly...I have no idea. I don't know if I am supposed to leave school and travel across the world, wait to graduate, or stay in the exact same position laying on my stomach across my bed typing this up right now. I just don't know. But time will tell. It always does. I'm going somewhere, I am. And I WON'T forget those who had my back when I was in the dark

The Word of the Day is....GOSSIP.
- idle talk or rumour, especially about the personal or private affairs of others
- It forms one of the oldest and most common means of sharing (unproven) facts and views
"Giiiiiiirrrrrrrrrllllll...lemme tell you what LaShondra said..." Sound familiar? Gossip; the thing NO ONE likes to admit and also the thing EVERYONE does. From what LaShondra told Keisha, to why so-and-so is a hoe, gossip, most of the time is untrue. Yeah there may be some truth to it, but most of the time it's a huge exaggeration sprinkled with the truth. People gossip because of one thing: boredom. Gossip occurs when 2 or more people are looking to be entertained. 9 times outta 10 the people talking aren't intending to be hurtful, it's just they've got nothing to occupy their time; also called hearsay or he-said-she-said. My thoughts on gossiping: put yourself in the shoes of the person you're talking about. Number 1, could you say all what you're saying to that person if the one you speak of was standing right there in your presence? If not, then it's probably something you shouldn't be talking about in the first place. Gossip leads to rumors which leads to drama; and who has time for that?
