Happy Independence Day everybody! Today is a celebration in remembrance of the day that made "of age" white, voting males free from the tyranny of Britain! Remember, this was a day meant to be spent with ya family, friends, beer, BBQ, and/or loved one(s) Please be safe, don't drink and drive, and for the Georgians: don't text and drive (and yes tweeting and BBM'n counts too.) Oh yea and one more thing; special note to the African Americans reading this post...*leans closer and whispers* even though slavery wasn't completely abolished until 89 years later...its OK to still have a hotdog or two and ya know catch a few fireworks here and there. The term "free" was used as lightly then as it is today. This holiday doesn't discriminate against ANYBODY. [anymore]
